Drive east on the Zion–Mt Carmel Highway, up the switchbacks and through the 1.7 km tunnel cut in the 1920s. The trail is 1.6 km round trip with 50 m of climb and a railing at the exposed section. Best view-per-effort in the park, and a good sunset spot.

If cold water doesn't appeal: Observation Point from the East Mesa trailhead gives you a higher view than Angels Landing with none of the exposure, and no permit.
